We got a new boy this last weekend. I’ve been looking for about a year and a half for a leopard appy mini close enough to not have to ship it. Finally found one less than an hour away.  Took some patience to wait for the owner (horse trader) to come down in price. But worth the wait. He is very pretty and is getting along with Trigger and Thunder very well. He has a trot to die for, cant wait to see him in the cart next summer.

He is pretty fuzzy, but tiny and very sweet. We got him to be a pasture mate for Trigger. Not sure on the color as he looked buckskin when born, but looks to be maybe turning black? Or just a dark buckskin. whatever he is, he’s a cute little buggar.

Its been raining so much their pastures are a mess. So we decided to bring them back to the house a little early. Here are some pictures from today. The new girls are not high on the popular list, poor babies, everyone is chasing them around.

We bought two mares today. They are very dirty from getting rained on last night. We will clean them up and trim their hooves and take better pictures later.

A very good friend of mine, who is my stallion’s previous owner, has decided to take two of his babies! Our filly from last year, Bailey and our very special black filly from this year, Gracie. We are super thrilled that she is taking both girls, they will have a wonderful home filled with lots of love and spoiling. Bailey will be trained to drive in the future and will be a matched team with her uncle who looks a lot like her. Congrats Mary Ellen! I know my girls will be very well cared for!
